In a "Play later" challenge, your opponent plays the same set, in the same order, whenever they like. The site decides the winner.

Challenging someone

Finish a word game with a random set and completely.
On the result screen, tap "Challenge with this score". The game must have finished within the last 24 hours.
Choose a member (people you follow appear first, and you can also search) or create a link.

Creating a challenge requires a membership. A game result can only become one challenge; to challenge someone else with the same score, play again.

Your opponent's turn

The invited member must accept and play within 72 hours; if they still haven't played 12 hours before the deadline, they get a reminder. They can also decline the invitation.
The invited member can play that one set even without a membership.
When they finish the game, you both get the result as a notification. On the result page, you compare your scores and can ask for a rematch.

The link is valid for 72 hours and is single-use: the first person to accept it plays.
You can share the link via WhatsApp, Telegram or any other way. The link page shows your name (according to your name setting) and your score.
Someone without an account can also play via the link. To see the result, they register or sign in; a guest game that isn't linked to an account within 7 days is deleted.

Questions and answers

Once you finish your game, the challenge page shows every question of the game: the right answer, your answer (right or wrong) and, where it was kept, the time you spent on each question. You can listen to the word or add it to "My Words" to practise it later.

Your opponent's answers appear once they finish the game too, so nobody can play by looking at the other's answers. Some older challenges have no saved question history.

XP

The player who finishes the challenge gets 15 XP, the winner gets another 15, and players who draw get 5 XP. For the limits, see "Badges and XP".
